Heading over next Wednesday with a couple of pals will be my first time attending the event. Any tips/advice of where to go what to see would be most welcome.
Cheers Phil

I'm going over on Tuesday with a load of pals.
You gotta visit Joeys pub in ballymoney, Carrick a rede rope bridge, the pub, giants causeway, the pub, lap or two of the circuit, bushmills distillery, the pub, practice on thursday and don't forget to vist the pub.
Portrush gets a bit mad with locals on the Saturday after the racing.
And when you get of the ferry in Belfast head up the Antrim Coast and take in the views and the bends.
We're staying in Balintoy, near the rope bridge. Enjoy.
And the loud black falco playing on he local hairpins outside the village will be me.

And stop for coffee and home baked scones with cream and jam in the wee tea room opposite the harbour in Cushendall on the coast road.

i live in larne which is just at the start of the antrim coast and would agree with pretty much everything falcopops says, do as much of the coast road as possible, and dont be scared to explore the side roads some crackers there too, word of warning though, the police will be crawling all over the coast road, they have clamped down on it, so just watch your speed theres lots of little villages on the way which are 30 or 40's.

we got the ferry from stranraer to larne and headed up the coast road to port rush which is quite central and plenty of places to stop over.

You really don't wanna be doing that.
The North West Coast is an entirely different proposition for him.
