Hi all, I purchased my falco on Saturday and have racked up 300+ miles and hav'nt stopped grinning since.

. The bike feels as light as a feather after my HD sporster, and the sound of the MTC cans comes close to that of the Vance & Hines stubbies.
I found the ridersite.com very useful in sourcing info on the falco and hope to be able to add to future threads.
I have read that the neutral can be evasive when cold but to be honest I found it near impossible to find when stationary be it cold or hot, will the £10 clutch jet change solve this issue, or should I be looking at something else?

Ah! we've saved one ! Hallelujah!!
Welcome to the forum
The clutch jet will make a real difference as long as you have no other issues compounding the problem (such as air in the clutch fluid and it needing bleeding).
In the meantime, develop the habit of clicking down in to neutral from second before you come to rest - I think most of us developed this habit long before we heard of the clutch jet solution.
Anyway, glad you're enjoying the Falco

as he said
i would reverse bleed the clutch as per kzmille's guide - think you will find it stickied in the aprilia technical section here
and yes, i would invest the 10 quid in the clutch jet... may want to get one from griff before you bleed btw!
http://www.apriliaperformance.co.uk/ to contact griff - lovely chap :)
oh - btw - bum in bar please for some ales, and how good is your credit rating??

Took me awhile but thats exactly what I've started to do, cruise to a stop in neutral. I think for £10+ I will change the jet and see how it goes, any recommendations to who's best to buy it from?
lol about being saved from HD, I was sucker punched by my wife coming home with one, the sound and sparkly bits were just to much, lol, but i've come through the other side and ready to get back to reality

ordered the modified jet from Griff and got to agree he was very helpful, found the write up for bleeding the hydraulics so need to get tubing, syringe, fluids plus a paddock stand, I wonder if I will ever just buy a bike and not have to get the spanners out for the first 12 months, maybe if my numbers come up

, off to find a write up changing the jet

LOL - you've bought a Falco ..... spanner twirling is an integral part of the fun.
It's not that they need more maintenance than other bikes but (as you may have noticed) we can't help ourselves when it comes to fettling, tweaking, modifying .......................

I also picked up my new bike at the weekend, and found neutral very elusive indeed, I've already started going form second to neutrala s I found it impossible coming from first. I shall look into this jet business then, maybe it'll help.
