Dull INDICATORS

#1 Post by old git » Fri Apr 23, 2010 7:08 pm

Just come back from a works rideout, finish early on a Friday (Weeeeee)
Guys told me on some stops that the idicators are hard to see.
They are not the originals, aftermarket smaller ones on when I bought it.
Is there an easy way to boost the visability, say by getting a larger wattage bulb? or am a pi$$ing into the wind.

Thanks,
Hiding under a carpet of grey hair & lard.

Not that simple as this will also change the flash rate.

Tell us a bit more about what you've got on there and maybe we can advise a bit better.

(or I'll have a look when you pop over) :smt002

Following this post you will see the extent of my expertise
They are little rectangular indicators, they flash on & off.

That is all.

(OK, I'LL get my coat :smt039 )

D-, you'll have to look, I'm the same with computers & bikes.
I press buttons on computers & twist the handles on bikes, or is it the other way around :smt017 that is the sums up my level of knowledge. :smt001

You to gong to do each others Grecian 2000?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

You do seem obsessed by this Pete - I'm quite happy for nature to take it's course as and when it decides to. You sound like a chap who is more than a little concerned about this .... are you trying to find someone who can advise?
I'm sorry, though, I really can't help here.
I guess someone may know a good counselling service or a supplier of that grecian stuff at attractive rate.

Think that the thatched look is very in this year!
Don't think I will ever be one of the 'in-crowd' with my very own reflective dome. :smt019
