Bars over the top triple

I've eventually succumbed to age, bad knees, crook back and turning into a soft southerner (can't get much more south then here).

So when I put the forks back in I plonked the bars over the tripple clamp.

All's pretty good, managed to avoid any clearance issues on the throttle bar, it gets very close to both the tank and fairing, but doesn't touch.

However, the clutch side is a problem. The best I can do is a bit of a touch on the fairing with the light switch cluster on full right and pressing the horn on the tank on full left. Not a massive problem, but annoying when moving around in tight spaces.

I'm thinking about raising the tank a bit in the hope it clears the horn, but I know a few of you have done this mod and would like to know what clearance issues you have.

For instance I recall (Aladinsane?) had to move the front brake res to clear the fairing, but I didn't so there may be slight discrepancies between bikes, to be expected I suppose.

Input much appreciated.

Don't do it Dale!
Succumb to age....... that is.
Your knees should work better in that climate, lot better than up here.
Anyway you must be around two decades younger than me!
(Passed my bike test 46 years ago at 16)
Give in to it once and you'll be on an 883 Harley "Sports" with leather tassles, studded handbag on the back and a restrictor in 6 months.
I have much worse problems with my shoulders in a more sit up position than on the Falco, ZX9R or the old CBR, and knees don't change much unless you are on a sports bike with really high pegs.
Perhaps I'm just a complete oddball body wise I don't know. :smt017

Yeh, but he keeps waving a big Syringe about and telling me it won't hurt any more.
I suppose it's better than the bolt gun!
Then again, I might just go out on the bike and enjoy myself! :smt003
