Old ones may be seized, I got mine in about 6 or 7 days from Aprilia Yorkshire.
https://www.apriliayorkshire.co.uk/cata ... ikename=SL 1000 Falco 2000-2003&_pagename=Rear master cylinder
Item 19
Or could try here -

See who can deliver quickest.
Good luck.

I think I paid about a fiver for mine - was a generic one not an Aprilia one (I think). The problem with mine was not really with the switch. The rear brake lever has some play so the small raised portion of the lever which activates the switch was hitting the pushrod on the switch at an angle. This led to a bent pushrod and a knackered switch.
To solve this problem reoccuring I have removed the raised section of metal on the brake lever and disconnect the switch all year round. Then when MOT time comes I secure a square flat bit of metal to the lever using some electrical tape, reconnect the switch and hey presto a working rear brake light.
I never use the rear brake anyway, certainly not on its own without the front being activated as well, so I don't see the necessity in having one all year round.

You might want to try squirting some WD-40 into it (however you can). My front switch was acting up a long time ago, and this cured it totally.

Yeah andy - was hoping to get home next week as im off work for 10 days and have done all uni work for the time being, unfortunately im awaiting on the following parts which i desperately need:
direct from aprilia:
Oil level sight
Oil level sight bolts + washers
sump plug + oil tank plug
4 X brake caliper bolts.
thats £110
wemoto:
rear hugger - grp - black.
front, rear and sprocket carrier bearings.
thats £105
aprilia yorkshire:
rear brake light switch, another bolt.
thats £25
bitzforbikez:
sparkplug tool - short and long.
£13
So waiting for £263 worth of parts, then alot more work to do on the bike, then i can finish the service and get an mot sorted out...
How are you?

Mmmmm ..... how much of your order can you cancel?
Oil tank stuff ..... I've several spare Falco oil tanks that are complete .... probably a better deal than the various bits you are after to fix yours
Don't think I can do much about the calliper bolts though. Which ones are you after? - those that hold the calliper together or those that hold the calliper to the forks? Either way, they are for standard Brembo fitment so shouldn't be too hard to source (from an Aprilia or Ducati dealership or elsewhere)
Hugger I assume not urgent
Sprocket carrier bearings - just pop in to a bearings shop - think I've posted up the generic part numbers in the technical section.
Brakelight switches .... think others have covered them on here
Plug tool - don't you have the one from your Falco toolkit? - not great but it can do the job until you get a better one.
Let me know if one of my oil tanks can help you out.
Would be good if you can get to Newark or the club aprilia weekend.
BTW you may have spotted Will has been posting on here ..... he's in the process of buying a Falco

Hey D-Rider
Bearings have been dispatched and will be here by tomorrow, so thats the wheels sorted.
Caliper mounting bolts arent urgent, but they are on there last legs or so to speak.
unfortunately i can do nothing until i get a new oil level sight, which i have already paid for.
i dont have a aprilia toolkit, hence no spark plug tool!
saying that, i could always meet you at newark, train will only cost a few quid!

So what do you need most urgently (ie to get it on the road again)?
If it's stuff that we've got, then maybe you can cancel the order for those things (hardly unreasonable after this delay) and we can get you going.
Let us know which bits you need and I'm sure some of us will search our secret stores.
BTW I've not really had problems getting parts but it is usually worth checking that they are in stock before you actually place the order - if not then try another of the Aprilia spares places.
