Vandals got my Falco... again

I've been having a few issues with the fine residents of the flats I live in. In the past they have poured saw dust over the bike, piled their household refuse behind it, set the alarm off during the night and parked me in. My old stock cans which I keep in a communal cupboard in the parking area have been abused too. A few weeks ago I foolishly did not thread the lock and chain through the oxford cover and someone stole the cover. I have been starting the bike up down the road, and even cutting the engine up the road and coasting into the parking. I have not even been using the bike early in the morning in case its my alarm beeps that irritate people.

Today I get back and the now properly secure cover has had a knife taken to it... its in shreds. Luckily the bike is fine other than a small nick on the seat (which I cant be sure was not there before) but its just a matter of time... I move out in 2 weeks time so there is hope. I hope there will be no more damage done in these 2 weeks.

I'd kill f@ckers! How about getting cheap CCTV set form Maplins? When you're sure who that is, just call me. I'll give you a hand :smt070 with pleasure.

Make sure nobody knows that you're moving, they may want to make a 'good bye party' for you... :smt013

Aldi had a colour wireless cctv set for less than £50 the other week - tonight I noticed my local shop had some left.

CCTV is a good idea.. I'm checking some on the net now.

My other option is to leave the motorcycle at work for the next 2 weeks.. Security allow me to leave my car there when I travel abroad so it should be fine to leave it there... in fact I think I'll take it there tomorrow morning and catch the train back home.

I wish I knew what I did to piss someone off. Im sure its a case of mistaken identity.. maybe they are hearing the neighbours' VFR in the morning or the wealthy kids upstairs' music (I use the term 'music' loosely). 2 weeks and it will all be fine... and I'll have a garage to put my new swinger on in :smt001

Wire it up to a live supply.

Or forgo one nights sleep and hide with a baseball bat.

My hart goes out to you Syltiz, I don't no what's going on these days the whole place is filling up with scum.
I had my garage broken into twice last year, first crime in my street in 10 years.
They wrecked the garage door the first time trying to get in and they failed, came back 3 months later and cut a hole in the roof and then tried getting the door open from the inside in the night and failed, brainless idiots. :smt012

Sounds like you're best out of there because it will only get worse and the only thing this type understands is extreme violence, the police are useless. :smt012

Nae luck Syltiz...I'm with F9, leave it at the work, two weeks without is better than, well...just being without. Bring back hanging says I, or a well placed piece of branding for minor offences. Thumper...you are entitled to your opinion of the police, as am I, they may be 'useless' as you say but they have been made that way by a constant stream of Governmental bollocks designed to protect the ned bastards we all hate, resulting in a service thats hamstrung, powerless, under staffed and disallusioned, and I should know. By the way, what do you do, just in case I know one of your trade, if he is useless, I can brand you all useless!

Hi Exup - glad you've got over here at last .... now come on and get some of your southern colleagues posted on guard by Syltiz Falco. :smt003

Thing is, the Police are a bit like Americans ... We don't like "The Police" or the American nation ... however I've hardly ever actually met an individual American I don't like and the same is true of people I've met who happen to be in the police.

I didn't, I had my tax disk nicked in London and rode it for a whole year without one displayed :smt001 (saved me £7.50 and a queue)
