I went out to Bassetts Pole tonight to meet up with a mate on his new bike (Fazer thou) and the intention was for us to go for a ride but he got called home by his wife

And what a ride it was!
I headed from BP over to Furnace End and then up to Atherstone... its my usual daily commute when on bike but its the first time with the Falco... how satisfying that was... and how much different this beast is to the IL4's I rode on this route day in, day out.
The drive out of the corners is simply amazing, the sound (even with my newly installed DB killers) is so addictive... it was such a joy

Overtaking was effortless... and a few times I attempted to be hard on the throttle when pulling away but I just ran out of road like nothing I've experienced!
I'm still getting used to the vtwin... mainly being in too low a gear at slow speed and juddering a bit... just getting used to what gear is appropriate for what condition... but that'll come with time.
One thing I did notice at times was when in neutral there was a rattling noise from what I would say is the clutch/gearbox area... it would quieten down a bit when the clutch was pulled in... sometimes it was obvious, other times it wasn't. I'm not overly concerned with it but maybe its something I need to keep an eye on. Is there something I should know re: quirks on the falco and normal noises?!?
