I'm guessing you bought the Falco you were looking at.
So come on then tell us all about it.
Oh, and some pictures as soon as you can as well.

2001 in Black.

23000 miles.

1 owner.

12 months MOT.

Cat D - light cosmetic..

£1450.

Pick her up on Thursday.

Pictures to follow at the weekend as they've taken the link down from Biketrader already.

She needs a bloody good clean and some TLC, but she's straight chassis wise, and all the running gear works perfectly. Engine starts and runs perfectly.

Main thing is she was in budget and gets me back on the best bike ever made. I honestly don't care about the cosmetics because she'll be sorted in the next 12 months. And the money I've saved buying her over a 'minter' will easily pay for the mods she'll be getting. :smt003

I'm known as Falcorob on every other forum I go on. Couldn't register on here under that name for some reason.

But the name kind of gives away part of my previous. :smt002

It's all left hand side. Top fairing, clutch lever, bar end weight, riders peg, exhaust can.

All scratches, no breakages. Liveable stuff for now. In fact the fairing may even rub down and repaint without to much trouble.

I'll post some piccies at the weekend.

What can I say Rob.
Best bike.
Best year.
Best colour.
Well done mate. :smt023 :smt038
Is it a standard can that's damaged as I have a pair.

The Black Crow paint is not easy to get hold of, I got a touch up bottle, will try and find the eBay seller, they may possibly sell in larger quantities.

As far as the name goes, I think we may have had a FalcoRob on here before.

Me many moons ago. Around 2002. Never mind. My name is Rob and I own a Falco - again. That'll do for now. :smt003

That's that cleared up then,

Welcome Back! :smt006

As for the Black Crow paint, this is the place -

Good news is they do sell it in aerosols as well now, so could possibly use it for your panels,

Cheers for the link buddy. May be using that.

As stated previously though the main reason I bought her is to ride her. Once I've given her a proper checkover to make sure she's good to go then that's exactly what we'll be doing. The 'makeover' starts when the weather gets too bad to ride.

Sounds like a good idea to me!
