I've finally bit the bullet and put the Falco up for sale. I am truly gutted but cannot afford to have it as a toy.
So - thank you to all of you, really this has been a goldmine of advice and definitley saved me a few quid.
I plan on coming back though. When the time is right for me to be back on a bike I'll be on a Falco, guaranteed.
Very best wishes and the best of luck out there (especially to mrapriliafalco).
Tootle Pip!
P.S - It's on Ebay, it's the red one with lots of pics.

Congratulations for the reason for sale
I went without a bike on the road for far too long while the kids were growing up - but TBH when you have them to look after, the opportunities to ride can be few and far between.
Glad you've a plan for another Falco in the future.
Stick around the forum when you get the opportunity.
All the best

Hmmm, I suspect the Falco has gone now, I hope you got a decent price for it. I decided that I had to sell mine last year to help pay architects fees. I stuck it on ebay but the reserve was not met. This led to a re-think and I came to the conclusion that as the bike was worth more to me than anyone else, I might as well keep it. Sold the motorhome instead. It raised a lot more money (£18k) and got used a lot less often.
Falcos will get incresingly difficult to find - in decent nick. I hope when you come back to bikes you can find what you seek. I know we are Falco-enthusiasts, but there are plenty of good bikes out there.

Mate of mine once said that every kid she has is a bike she can't have. Very wise woman.
