Radial brake and clutch Master cylinders????

Does anyone have these fitted to thier bird and whats the difference to the stock cylinders as they seem cost a lot?

I've recently acquired two radial brake m/cyls (ex RSV new stylee), and have fitted one to my 888 Ducati and am going to fit the other one to the Falco, but have yet to try either out in anger. Having fitted the radial m/cyl to the Ducati and bled it up, it feels superb from a purely static standpoint.
If you're going for a radial m/cyl I'd be careful to only buy ex-RSV ones or new. I bought a pair of radial m/cyls(brake and clutch) off eBay that were allegedly from a Ducati 999 to fit to my old VFR, and they're as spongy as fuck. And this is with the crap Nissin sliding caliper brakes binned and replaced with goldline Brembos. So I really don't know what's going on there. I think the radial brake and clutch m/cyls will be finding their way back onto eBay before too long.
One thing you do have to be aware of with radial m/cyls is that the brake line take off points are totally different,. The take off point on a radial m/cyl is underneath the m/cyl, and means that you either need new brake lines or an adaptor (they're available on eBay). The orientation of the banjo is completely different. Also, if you have twin brake lines at the front, you will need to have enough space underneath the m/cyl to connect two banjos and a banjo bolt without fouling anything. It's definitely worth having a look at the latest model RSV Mille to see how it all hangs together before committing yourself.

Thanks Mango, it looks like I might not bother with this one, sounds like a real faff, besides I can't complain about the standard set up I have now with the twin lines.
