I'm looking to replace the stock B&C levers and like the look of these black brembo ones, does anyone know if they would fit on the standard master cylinders and what does 'Available in 16 ratio, 18 ratio & 20 ratio' mean :smt017 :smt017 :smt017

Those ones won't fit the Falco. They are for the later radial master cylinders. The ratio is something to do with the amount of fluid each strike of the lever moves, so I'm guessing a relationship between the master and slave?

Nah - that'll be fixed by the relative dimensions of the slave and master cylinders themselves.
I'm confident this will be to do with the leverage ratio of the lever itself - related how far you pull the lever compared to how far it pushes the piston in the master cylinder. It will be governed by the positioning of the pivot.

And the size of the piston

There were some Duc levers which were the same as ours, right? Anybody remember what model that was?

I'm thinking of getting a spare set, are the pattern ones worth buying?

Some will say yes, others will say no. I didn't like the pattern clutch lever I had, didn't feel as "tight", slopped around a bit and felt like it wore out quite quickly compared to a genuine item. On that basis, I wouldn't replace the brake with one, but that's just personal preference. There may be others that are better manufactured than the one I got, but it's that old adage, you get what you pay for.

Replaced both of mine with the Pazzo ones when Falken sorted a group buy last year :smt007

Yeah be VERY careful with pattern levers.
Several have found them to bind and jam the brakes on .... for some this has resulted in crashes others have just been stuck in the middle of the road. Do a search on here and AF1 and it will confirm.

The problem is we don't have clear info as to which are good and which aren't.

I'd stick to genuine brembo stuff (though buy the ducati spares as they are the same but cheaper) or a reputable aftermarket brand (eg Pazzo or Trak)
