That looks to be in very nice condition. And a blank canvas for the guys on this site to spend your money on!
Makes me want to go out and give mine a hug.

Yes, that looks good. My side fairings are also black. I 'm not sure if that's the standard colour. Mine is red and I've seen some with red side fairings.

Yep nice bike (and the side fairings are the colour they should be)

Get them side panels colour-keyed to the rest - a la Black ones!
I like the blue ones too btw, but more blue would look even better.

Or... colour-match everyting else to your panels.

It'll be faster, too!

Well Clint,
a good choice of colour if I say so myself! i have decided to keep my side panels in the matt black that the factory provided but mainly because Aprilia never released the paint codes and I would not want to compromise on the colour matching.
I am torn now on what colour scheme I should opt for on a bally pan. My beast has blueflame cans, PCIII, Penske rear shock, K&N air filter Firestorm sidestand and other bits and pieces.
Anyway, enough about my blue beast, what have you got planned for your new acquisition?
Blue.

Yeah - keep the side-panels black - the blue is nice but would be too much on those panels too.
Bellypan black too or a combination of blue and black creatively designed... don't think all blue bolted to the bottom of the bike would look quite right.
That said, these things are very much a matter of taste - there are no absolute rights or wrongs (unless yellow is involved)

They seem to have a good write up, any thoughts?

Sidestand - essential
De-restriction - if you don't want it strangled
Wire Mod - which one? - Headlight one is useful - charging one I wouldn't bother with - just keep your connectors electrically clean.
Fuel cans - yeah they are good - Got one of their carbon effect cans on mine. Well made, so much lighter than stock, great company to deal with. Power? Not a clue and don't really care.
What about the rear shock? - for me that's the second most important - behind the sidestand.

the wire mod was done b4 i bought it, its the charge one, as for the cans still sweet talking the other half, hehe, As I dont really ride hard YET, i have not noticed any probs with the rear shock, i am 5ft 7 n 73kg if that makes any difference, i up grade to the falco from a transalp, so am still getting used to the change in riding styles, but i will say one thing i rally love it, and am always getting asked questions about the bike, its great.

Very nice, a nice clean pallet for you to work on ;)
I'd be interested to know how you get on with the stand from Ebay, was it the modified longer one?
I understand that firestorm and fireblade stands also fit a treat and keep the bike more upright which is what mine needs as I have RSV dogbones fitted.
