Anyone here owned this it seems strangely familiar, maybe it would make a nice track project.

I guess the motor should be ok so long as it wasn't running long when the bike was upside down!! forks must be bent to snap off both clip-ons, I could be tempted for a tracker although I was thinking of a crashed 750 gsxr. I've seen an italian falco with track bodywork, any-one know if you can get it over here?

I manged to snap a clip on loafsmate :smt012 and I didn't bend anything else in doing so. I think they are made to snap off before anything is overstressed.
The poor thing has taken a bash but I would think it could be straightened out fairly cheaply, used falco bits are more available than they were.
In fact I have many of the parts needed already :smt003
I would consider bidding myself if it were nearer to me I recon you could get this falco roadworthy for around £500 worth of used parts provided the motor was sound and there is no major frame damage.

Intrigued by the Cat C as opposed to D.

Doesnt appear to be that much damage from the pics, not enough to merit a C. I guess a physical lookover in the flesh would bring forth the little itty bitty bits that signed it over to a C.

Pity.

My SV750 (:smt002) looks and rides near mint but the steering lock bit broke off the frame and it is considered a write off :smt010 Or trackday machine ;)

If the forks are damaged I have a set of pristine OEM forks going for a good price. PM if req'd.

As to race bodywork the company that made the stuff was Airtech, FWIW. Web search should bring it up, somewhere.

That airtech stuff works out at £400ish for a full set plus postage, I thought that was cheap enough.

It's not bad all things considered but then you have to paint it, depends on the us postage cost I suppose.
