#1 Post by PHIL h » Sun Aug 23, 2009 11:27 am

Can anybody help? last w/end whilst out on a ride my R/H can [aprilia high level carbon fighter] caught alight internally and blistered the outside and have since been told it's knackered, does anyone have any idea if it can be re-sleaved and if so where idon't really want to bin it as they are [were ] good] pipes and quite rare and i'm back on standard ones :

Theyll be resleevable, just might take a bit of effort.

Speak to Seastar in Newton Flotman, see if theyve got a contact at the paddock, probably AR Racing or...someone similar..

Im sure Alan (AR Racing) would be able to find you a contact for someone with a carbon sleeve that would fit. Used to have contacts from Ally Pally but cant for the life of me remember the guy's name to search him out

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
