In the persuit of Falco perfection, I was wondering, what's the best (performance/value or looks, its your call) add on/upgrade that you have fitted ?
I'm off to look at mine too try to make a decision.

Depending on the mileage - probably a new / rebuilt shock and new oil & seals in the forks?

Welcome,
The best mod by far is.......RSV4 :smt003 or if finances are a bit tight, A new sidestand as there are only two types of Falco`s. Those that have fallen off their stands, and those that are going to fall of their stands.

most of us have felt the pain as we return to a sleeping Falco. Stand circa 50 Quid, 25 if you buy my spare :smt002 . Not fitting one, 30 ish for a new lever, 15 ish for a new indicator, 25 ish for a new mirror, 15 ish for the touch up paint for the scraped fairing, oh and then 50 quid for a stand.

all else can come later.

Hi and welcome. Its down to user preference I guess.... mille swingarm is for some, as is the single-side exhaust, otherwise Oz wheels and as mentioned carbon fibre goodies, fancy rearsets or levers.... the list goes on and on :)

everything I have done - and all that I am planning

(sidestand is a no brainer. Rear shock is very good starting point - and having it set up properly!)

after that - well..... the world is your oyster

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Sidestand is a given; an absolute essential. A bit like (for me) a Baglux tank harness. How do people manage without?

Best VFM is probably an Ohlins rear shock (secondhand off eBay, of course). Transforms the bike. But then so did a pair of aftermarket cans (Akrapovic in my case). How can you ride a V-twin that doesn't sound like a V-twin?

Have a good look round the forums and archives here, there's a whole load of different things to do to a Falco to make it the ultimate dogs bollocks.

I think the ARS smoked rear tail light mod is still the most exclusive.

If you can find one :smt001

Oh and Yellow paint beats Bronze hands down.

Having the forks re-valved by Gareth @ Reactive was by far the best money I ever spent on my Falco. Worth every penny

... I like the oval mille indicators for a cheap, easy and sexy mod (though one of mine got trashed when the fuggin' SIDESTAND 'failed')....

15 tooth front sprocket. Tiny financial outlay, massive improvement.

As mentioned, the sidestand mod and rear shock changes go without saying.

Then I think the best value for outlay is the size 40 clutch-oil-jet mod .... closely followed by the 15t front sprocket.
