Re packing Aprilia CF Racing Cans

I repacked one of my cans today and I'm not sure I'm going to bother doing the other.

With the racket my bike makes and the fact it's done about 45k , 40k of which has been with the CF cans, I thought the packing would be well shot. Well it wasn't just a little black in places. These things are well made and I'm not sure the freshly packed one is any quiter than the other but it now has alloy headed rivets rather than stainless. I could have spent three hours doing some thing else.

By the look of mine the cans are good for 100k or the life of the bike.

It's good to hear that the CF cans don't need repacking all that often. It's one thing less for me to worry about. :smt003

I agree with you TwinNut, also I don't like to attract attention ... :smt003

The bike came with the cans, it goes well, they look nice, are well made and light weight. All of which I balance against the extra noise.

Would you settle for a de Havilland Mosquito, then? :smt002
