This should help you to understand which forks you have:

The change from Showa to Marzocchi happened during the production of the Bronze and Flamingo colours - so (unless I've remembered wrongly) you will find some of these on each brand.
You can differentiate them by the pre-load adjusters. The Showas screw in and out of the top of the forks, the Marzocchis adjustment is contained within and the adjusters just look like they are going round and round.

Mark,
Unless it's your Tuono I'd say you've got Showa's on the Falco, if they're the originals.
I recall they were black upper tubes same as mine, AFAIK the Marz only came with gold tubes and way later than your black model.

Nope that's not right Dale.
There are Gold and Black Marzocchis and Gold and Black Showas.
The Marzocchis on the Flamingo Red bikes were black
However Marzocchis were only fitted to the later bikes - they changed over from Showa part way through the production of Flamingo and Bronze bikes

Mark, take a picture of the top of the forks and post it up - should be easy to identify it for you.
