Last week I went to the nearest Aprilia centre (Speedaway) to get some 15W50. They had some but I wasn't sure it was fully synth (the same brand had a can of a different weight of oil next to the 15W50. The other can said it was Fully Synth the 15W50 said something like "Synthetic Protection" - seemed odd to call it something different if it was fully synth)
Anyway asked the chap on the counter and he said that they stock that range of oil for the KTMs they sell.
He told me that their (Aprilia approved) workshop use the Fully Synth Shell 10W40 that was on the next shelf.
Came to the conclusion that if I'd put the bike in for a dealer service that's what it would have got - so I bought a can of that (it was £2 cheaper too).
There again, if I could have found some 15W50 fully synth, I'd have gone for that.

depends on age and speed of the falco - the faster black ones do seem to need 15/50 semi - I use putoline

Sorry to let you down, but I've no idea who it was.
.... though my Dad used to work for Castrol Research and I spent a summer working there while I was a student ......
(I know I've just bought some Shell stuff ...... but as my Grandad used to work for BP-Shell, I guess I'm not being too disloyal)

Hien Gereke are doing a 10w/50 fully synthetic own brand, blended by Motul, for i think £21 ish. I know that might cause clutch slip, in your old `99,2000 old slow Donkeys, but for us types with the later thougbred Red and Bronze/Black racing ponies, it will fit the bill nicely.
Oh and will someone put a Fuc--ng spell checker on ere

Guess you're not using Firefox with the UK-English spell checker plug-in then?
Works a treat.
