Hi all,
I have a replacement rear disk from evotech on its way, -(stainless)
and I am after any opinions as to whether to stick in organic or sintered pads,
Evotech are reluctant to recomend anything, incase of being sued, I spose,
my original disk is well worn and was finished off by by some blasting aroung the Picos de Europa, last month,
I have used EBC HH up to now, but seeing the wear on my original disk, has made me think
something softer may be better. (Ferodo platinum?) Riding style - all year round riding, occasional track day, occasional long trip,
any opinion sort, and I promise not to sue, :smt002

Do Evotech make the disc or just sell it?

Either way but especially if they make it, they should be recommending a pad to go with it. I would sue the c@#ts for NOT advising me when I damaged the disc through the use of the wrong type of pad.

How did you wear the rear disc ? I was under the impression the back brake was for show only :smt002

you are right, dammit, they should be able to advise rather than the woolly non committal bs,
I will call back,
I generally, never use the rear brake, which makes mine being worn all the more strange,
but a little bit of rear brake, if you are flying into bends, sometimes helps
to keep the bike down rather than the fronts which seem to make it stand up,
well, for me anyway, sp
