I fitted the one by Hooked on the RSV forum - essentially the same thing. Its very easy to fit... just make extra storage space in your garage for the airbox you no longer need :smt001

There is a guide somewhere - I will try find it for you.

I found my fuel consumption went up after i fitted mine.

Fasta you bastard pipped be my £2 - your snipe tool must be better than mine!

Hey Stylitz for my ignorance is the airbox mod for the RSV the same for the Falco, i.e. will the Hooked one for an 01 Mille fit an 01 Falco??

Joined the Falco club last week - will post some pics when I get rid of those embarassing standard cans. Got some Fuel titanium ones, but they sent me 2 left hand link pipes!! Sent me the right hand one today so will get on tonite, then wake up the neighbours :smt002

Yes, there is the old shape and the new shape airboxes. The old shape fits RSV Mille to 03, Tuono to 05 and all Falcos. The new shape fits RSV 04+ and Tuono 06+

Some guys here have made a home version for far cheaper than the Hooked/Renegade price... search here and AF1 if you are keen to try it yourself.

Lovely, thanks for that......think I just want one more little mod before I call it quits for a while. Yeah, have been having a good read of all the different options and DIY ones. For me I think £110 is pretty reasonable for a 'proper' one and the Hooked version seems to be well made, esp when I and others are willing to pay £80 for an old Rene that probably needs a new filter anyway!

Any ideas on where I could go for a quick test ride on the new pipes? I'm in Westminster, and just looking for a quick 45min-1hr belt tonite but don't want to be stopping for traffic lights every 100yds!

Ah... you wont find many nice roads close to you. Your best bet is to head west towards Middlesex looking for the M4, the A315 or the A316 but thats just open highway - not much in they way of twisty stuff or decent scenery. You could try getting to the A3 but with Wimbledon on I reckon that will be a nightmare.

If you are around this weekend... im just down the A3 from you in Surrey, we could hit some of the decent roads in the South East (they will ALL be clogged with cars and caravans but its that time of year i'm afraid) or more westerly which seems to be slightly quieter. Lemme know.

No sweat fastas - all's fair on the fleabay!

Thanks for the offer Stylitz will check with social co-ordinator and PM you tomorrow. Made it out to Wimbledon last night. Bit of a perv as I was trolling down the Kings Road and then got to give it a little squirt down the A3. Got the zorsts on no prob, fired it up to test......mmm bit disappointing, not much more than std. Remove baffles - holy sheet! I've come from a 748 with Termis and the Falc is now LOUD, almost too loud......scratch that, no such thing. I figure extra decibels = added safety :smt001
