Obviously it depends on may variables but assuming it leaves you 4 litres and you go easy you should get 40 miles....

just don't ask me to push you when I turn out to be wrong :smt009

Depends how many miles you get before it comes on and what type of riding you are doing, sorry to be vauge but there is no definitive answer. I get 115 miles before the light on a mixed bag of roads, regular as clockwork. On motorway trips cruising at 85ish, much longer :smt003

.... and I've come to a grinding halt at the centre of a roundabout in the middle of rush hour with just 100 miles on the clock ... tank bone dry.

Other times I've exceeded 140miles before the light has come on.

The good mpg has come on long distance rides - not hanging about.
The poor mpg on short slow commutes (though they usually give about 110mls to the light.

Obviously this also depends on how full you brim the tank.

I guess what I'm saying is you can't really assume a figure - just try to get to know what your bike does in a variety of riding situations.

my worst was 85 miles before the light came on - my best was around 147

I suspect that my new 54mm throttle bodies may well be more thirsty though....

I managed 24 miles from the fuel light coming on until it ground to a halt a quarter of a mile from the petrol station I was heading for. This was fairly enthusiastic riding up and down the hartside pass. I don't recommend pushing a Falco in leathers on a hot day.

Interestingly, after pushing it most of the way I stopped for a rest and then tried starting it - it fired up and got me 100m to the pumps - so some fuel must continue to trickle through to the fuel pump.

In my short ownership of standard Falco (1200ish miles since mid March) I'm getting 110 worst / 140 best from brimmed tankful. Mixed bag of riding but very little town work and no track days yet.
Have eased off with fuel light on (below 5K revs/easy on accel) and managed 25 miles before reaching petrol station......still some left in tank. Not sure I'd want to try for any more!!

Short commute - 100 miles to light.
Backroad looning - 150.
Motorways - life's too short.

OK, couldn't remember, had to ride to work and back on the light, pretty much, but only 6-7 miles each way (without a detour) and with 2 cold starts thrown in to the mix, I think I was probably close to running dry.
I run my RSV out on the way to work once, just past home, luckily I was at the top of a hill, garage at the bottom so rolled along and re-started part way down.
