Sun Stroke ?

Got out of work just after 7 tonight.
Wandered out to the Falco that had been basking all day in the sun.
Got kitted up.
Turned on the ignition, a bit of fast-idle, thumbed the button and it growled into life.
Hopped on.
Knocked the sidestand up.
Clutch in.
Clicked it into 1st ...... and the engine cut.
So
Into neutral.
Thumbed the button again and it roared again.
Clutch in, into 1st .... and it died again.
.... thinks through the interlocks .... mmmm ..... sidestand switch?
(BTW this is a Falco made after the metal switch pin mod - so unlikely to be an actuation issue)
So
Into neutral
Sidestand down, kicked sidestand back up again
Thumbed the button again and it snarled again.
Clutch in, into 1st .... and, you guessed, it died again.
Feck ! I wanted to get home!
Thinks interlocks again, thinks it can't be anything other than sidestand switch.
Didn't relish fixing that before I went home.
Thinks again ... let's re-boot the ECU before doing anything more invasive.
Into neutral
Key off
Wait for a bit
Key on
Thumbed the button again and it barked into life again.
Clutch in, into 1st .... problem solved!
I'm thinking that the bike is just not used to this glorious weather and the sun sent it a bit ga-ga.
Hopefully it will acclimatise.
