Last weekend I had two full days in the Falco saddle riding around Scotland and suffered very badly from numbness / pins'n'needles in my fingers, so much so I had to keep lifting my hands off the bars every few mins to get the blood back to them and functioning again (not the safest style of riding!!!) and it was very uncomfortable.

This is the first time I've really noticed it, I suppose I've just not been in the saddle for so long before, is this normal?

I've had a quick search of the "other site" and there have been various post's about this and they suggest that the TB's might be out of sync / unbalanced causing excessive vibration!!! does anyone know anything about this or have any other ideas?

My set up is pretty standard with Beowulf cans & bars over the top yoke.

Never suffered from this myself but I don't put a lot of weight on my wrists/hands which may help. I tend to support myself from my body rather than my arms - maybe this is because I've had bikes with low bars for most of the time I've been riding and found it to be the way that works for me.

As for synching the TBs, it's pretty easy to do with a carbtune.

If you grip like a monkey wrench then yes, you'll prolly feel it. Relax you hands and it'll get better.

Do you have aftermarket barends on? A friend of mine changed his for some flashy tat and reported the same problem.

I have been riding with a relax grip as much as possible and on a normal 2/3hr ride out it's not too much of a problem! Unfortunately I don't have anything to compare it to, no experience of other V-twins or other bikes for that matter, so I'm not sure if it's excessive vibration caused by a problem on the bike or just normal.

It has the bar ends I bought it with, I think they are standard issue.

Has anyone tried filling there clip-on’s with any extra weight, lead shot was recommended over on the AF site?

I find that I only really suffer at fairly low revs, say 3K to about 5K. If not playing the Falco will run in this range.
Went out for about 4 or 5 hours last Saturday with an old mate of mine whose health ain't too good, so we always end up having a steady cruise.
Suffered from vibration more than I've ever done before.
When I'm on my own I still often use low revs, but spend much more time at higher revs and don't have a problem.
Anybody else had a similar experience?

I was on the falco all day on monday - a full track day then a 2 hour ride home and didn't notice any uncomfortable vibes in the bars. That said I keep it spinning over quite high and only reach top gear when cruising steadily on open roads/dual carriage ways etc. at about 4-5000rpm. My mates RF900 on the other hand buzzes like a jar of angry wasps at certain mid range speeds...

Never had a problem on the Falco, but on a previous bike I got tingling in my hands after a while. I bought some new gloves, and this seemed to cure it, don't know whether the padding was better but it made a big difference.

sms, they are spot on fella, where can I buy um from you don't seem to be able to buy off the website. They come in two sizes 13mm or 22mm, do you know what size I need for stock bars.

the size refures to the weights, not bar diameter, ive 22mm on mine and they are the same size as the grips and bars combined, perfect i would say
