Disaster struck last night. Getting on the Beast on a hill she toppled and hit the pavement with a stomach churning crash. Let indicator smashed, left fairing and main fairing look to be broken in places, tank has a section of paint scratched off and scratches on the exhaust :smt013 :smt012 :smt013 :smt009 I think its going to be an expensive tumble, gutted

My goodness - that's a lot of damage for a topple over - that's very bad luck.

.... though at least it's an "accident" that didn't hurt you (other than in the pocket).

Don't know whether this thread will be of any use to you:

Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

Ouch! That is unfortunate. I hope you manage to sort her out at minimum cost and soon because the Scopttish summer is on its way. Honest.

I feel your pain, I was nearly sick when mine fell of its side stand. E bay is a good source of parts, as i found out. Hope you get well soon.

Oops!
Hope it's not too bad but if so I've got a spare front fairing, red & black off an 2001 I think, good nick except for minor stone chips. Cost me £75, add carriage and it's yours.

Sickening when such things happen. Hopefully evil bay will provide the bits and pieces you need. It's the painting that costs the dosh in my experience.

Good luck and speedy recovery for your bird.

Blue.

Wouldn't it be nice sometimes, if life had a 'rewind'?

For sure! Then I could go back and avoid a lot of nasty mistakes!
