mirrors with raised bars ??
Has anyone got any suggestions for replacement mirrors for my Falco.
Im considering putting my fairing back on, but keeping the Renthals installed
The renthal bars make the standard fairing mirrors useless.
The mirrors need to be longer, so they can see past the wider/higher bars
Any ideas ? Any other bikes i couls use the mirrors from ?
cheers
steve

mmmm..im not a fan of bar end mirrors. I find them very difficult to see out of. You tend to move the bars about to see properly, which isnt very good when your battering along a motorway
Itll be interesting to see what you come up with though
I think maybe Suzuki SV1000 mirrors might do the trick, possible Fazer1000 (their a bit long though)

I'm amazed to read this, I swapped from the standard Tuono mirrors to bar ends and I'll never go back from them. Clear vision at all times and no elbows in the way mean I'm more confident of what's behind me now than I ever have been with std mirrors or fairing mounted ones. I'll admit at high speed they are useless as they vibrate a lot but at sub 100 they are perfect. I suppose it might depend upon which bar end mirror you buy but I definately don't need to move the bars about to see whats behind me with minesthomson1 wrote:mmmm..im not a fan of bar end mirrors. Mine are very similar (or identical, but I cannot see the back) to these and they work fine

I did try a set of these , but they are rubbish, the glass revolves around , they move and eventually the glass cracked. Save your money and don't be tempted, I think they are made (or marketed) by Motrax, but loads of fleabay sellers flog them in all kinds of finishes and they are cr*p!

CRG & Oberon are the quality end of the market. Pricey but very good I'm told, but my £20 ones have been fine for 12 months now
