Only had a brief ride on one, a standard RSV about a 2001.
Seat is a bit higher.
Bars feel a couple of inches lower.
So I did'nt find it as comfortable as the Falco.
It felt very similar engine/performance wise.
Possibly has a bit more top end and a bit less bottom end than the Falco, but it was nothing that you would seriously notice.
Early RSV-R or later Factory would be probably be more obvious.

Only really obvious thing was that it was slightly less comfortable, not sure how that would have worked over longer distances, would probably have noticed it more, so I went for the Falco.

I rode one many years ago so difficult to make a valuable comparison, however for whats its worth I have the same feelings as Howard.

I reckon the falco is far easier to ride fast that the Mille

Hi all,

The seat on the mille is higher, the bars lower, if you intend to use it daily or for long ride-outs, suggest you buy a falco fella :smt003 If you want a slightly more faster ride top-end then the mille is the choice :smt002 If you are tall, falco again :smt003

The bling bits are optional on the falco, standard on the mille, everyone to their own......

Surely if there's a lot of Milles around at good prices, then a set of Variobars or similar will sort out the riding position?

lord, there goes another rib....

oh - sore subject there!

I found that the mille seemed to need a longer reach, and as i am descended from apes, but not an ape, i found it a stretch too far....
