Whilst im in plaster, i thought i'd tinker with the bike. I've got all the bits for a falcono (appart from front sub frame) here's a queston for those with renthal bars - how have you routed your throttle cables? im having difficulty, lol. Got bars and brake lines sorted (one handed, lol), and a carbon tuono fairing etc loitering the garage (ooooo carbon)
Just cant see where to stick the cables, without them tugging, or rubbing on the tank
Should look nice when its finished

Std routing on the falco is round the headstock, you might be able to get a bit more play by routing behind the headstock, although kinking might become the issue.

My throttle cables are still around the headstock (with renthals) ... a wee bitty tight, but, i can still turn full lock both ways without pulling the throttle open.

If you really need to get new cables try Ven Hill in Dorking, They'll make up anything you specify.

I slightly raised my fuel tank at the front with some think washers, to change the postition where the cables come out. Cables run behind the headstock, I can just get away with standard cables and renthals. Let me know if you would like pics of the way I did mine

Thanks for the offer steve. But not needed now. I bought some longer cables in a recent ebay attack. Should do the trick

Not got Renthals myself, but Variobars instead. My cables have to run between the headstock and the tank. No kinking issues, but it doesn't look very tidy.

Got mine running between headstock and tank at the moment, and the throttle gets a bit stiff, and cables rub on the tank. Still need to fit the black mille swinger and ohlins shock etc yet, need some sort of stand - my meathod of hangint the bike of the garage rafters nearly ended up in an accident
