riding home from work the other night the same route i always take. Obviously in a world of my own when I got flashed by a speed camera. looked down at the speedo and it read 35/6 in a thirty zone. Nothing in post yet feel such a twat!

Yeh, I got pulled over for a bike and equipment safety check by three plods at Ollerton roundabout. They were there when I went out, (with a queue of more than 20 bikes being checked), two hours earlier and I thought they'd have gone by the time I got back. Looks like they'd been there doing real policing all day!
Didn't moan about the cans, which are stamped legal buit certainly don't sound it, from what they said, seemed to mainly be after small numberplates, just pointed out my rear tyre was a bit worn in the middle of the tread.

One flash and you got away with it, two and you didn't. I didn't (last year) 35 in a 30 due to being tired and shagged out after a Monday early shift, I forgot the camera was there :(

Is this a good time to mention that the roads between my home and work are all unrestricted?
