Kreiga Tailpack

#1 Post by EdinburghFalco » Wed Mar 04, 2009 2:10 pm

I am off to Callander this weekend, hope to ride one of the best biking roads in the country, the Duke's Pass, Aberfoyle to Callander. Any way in preparation I got a 30L Kreiga tail pack and thought as the riding season is getting near and people might be thinking about buying luggage I would mention that its great piece of kit. Its extremely well made and totally waterproof. It is made up of a 20L and 10L that strap together which makes it very versatile, you can use it in any combination 10L, 20L, 30L or buy another 10L and make it a 40L. It fits the Falco pillion seat perfectly and straps up tight. No I am not on commission but this is about the best tail pack I have seen, a bit more expensive but I am sure its worth the money.

can you recommend a nice tank bag as well?

Yes, the kriega us10 + the converter looks great, but lacks the map pocket on top :(

Tank bag wise I think that the baglux system is hard to beat. Expensive but good
The genuine aprilia tank bag is ok as well but may be hard to find

I bought the wolfman tail bag which impressed me a lot and I did review it on this forum

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I am hoping to ride the "Dukes Pass" this year on our annual trip to Fort William.

Let us know your thoughts on the run please?

I'm speaking at an event in the Dreadnought hotel (which having read the reviews I am dreading) but am free all afternoon, any time after lunch, probably about 1:30pm.
Looking at the weather is getting me, worried the wife needs the box and I fancied the Duke's pass, but now they are saying to expect snow on Sunday!!
