I`ve just bought myself a pair of those gerbing heated gloves, they seem like a good option, for all weather riding.
has anyone used these or similar on the Falco, and was it OK with the electrics. just thinking I may have to do the wiring mod to make sure of enough power.

Had a quick look at the website and looks like they draw about 25W.
That's not a lot really. The book says the generator is 400W so unless you are riding around on full beam with high watt bulbs; your brake lights stuck on and also running heated vest and pants - you should be fine.

AND COMFORTABLE !!!! :smt003

Let us know how you get on with them. They are yet another thing on my shopping list.

I've got the Gerbing gloves and jacket liner; warm as toast, and I've not had any electrical problems. (Standard wiring). The gloves are actually very warm (and dry) even when switched off. Quality kit. :smt001

thanks guys, yes the gloves were a bit of an impulse buy.
i had been looking for a good pair at the show, but enough about the MCN stand :smt002
gerbing had set up a stand where you could try them with the heater on and they felt brilliant, not just warm but comfortable, and the fit was good. something i sometimes have a problem with as i have large paws.
I had been out the previous day and it turned cold, and left me just wanting to get home, hands freezing.
got to say £110 for mitts + £40 rail fare, admission, + coffee and roll, left me a bit shell shocked. but i`m tiring of buying cheap gear and replacing it soon after because its sub standard.
can`t wait to try these out, must remember to bring a mate with normal gloves for added gloat :smt004
