Hi all,

Try a pair of pump pliers with tape wrapped round or the plastic clipon covers and quickly crack the alley key not to hard though :smt002

Failing that take the "Pierre Action," and angle-grind em off! No offence pierre, I know you are skilled with all tools....

d rider bought the correct tool from aldi, but those of us who are even cheaper.... take a can of coke and open it up so you end up with flat tin

wrap that around the bar end weight - and hold tight with molegrips, stillsons or pipe wrench - then while holding it use the allan key

I had to do the same thing to my Pan Euro, but then it was 153years old and had been kept outside in all weathers without a bike cover. :smt005

They come off really easy if you use a strap wrench.
