Well, I'm sold. Anyone want to buy a sh!tty, unreliable Falco so I can buy an SV? Then again, maybe he had the highly-strung V4 edition, and that's why he had problems
Yeah, right.

i find it amusing that they all talk about how fast the sv is... not the character, or handling, or overall fun....
I can only conclude they have small penis' and have no real idea on what makes a great bike

Makes me laugh how, all the Falco owners said how good the Falco is, didn't say a bad word about the SV. All the SV lot can do is slag off the Falco/Aprilia/Italian bikes in general.
but it is no quicker than my anniversary SV 1000 and we have to push start the RGV all the time
I thought an RGV
IS a Suzuki?

well just to balance things, i have in my garage
1x Falco- works fine, excellent build quality.
1X Honda xr400, works fine excellent build qaulity.
1x Sv650s, needs sorting, EFI/ conector problem. not good build quality. (great fun on twisties though)
The falco is seriously a much higher build quality, and quite a different animal than the Suzuki, be it 650 or 1000.

I always wanted an '84 or '85 GSXR (either 750 or 1100) because I like the looks of them. Then I discovered the Falco.

What is quite amusing is they harp on about the shite electrics............................that'll be the japanese part of the bike then!

I suspect the SV would have been a better bike if it had used the same TL engine.
I had an early SV650S and would have been happy to upgrade to an SV1000, but when I saw the pre-release pictures I thought URGH!!!
Is it just me or did Suzuki ruin the SV when they made it all angular?
I was amused by the guy on the SV site who reckoned his SV was faster than his mate's Fireblade...I'm guessing his
mate was literally just that, i.e. his wife!!!

Have to admit that the yellow 650 'curvy' I collected for my sister and ran for a few weeks was the reason i bought the falco, I had a MK1 fazer at the time and just really liked the whole torque riding thing.....obviously the falc has a whole load more, but my sisters bike with a full big bore Micron system sounds sweet too
