I bought them just in case, never had to use them yet, if someone needs them I'm sure some low cost rental (postage and a pint) could be arranged :smt003
If you don't like it, don't look!

1) buy an anglegrinder

2) buy 2 appropriate sockets

3) grind chunks out of sockets

4) use sockets twice and put on shelf never to be used again

5) you are now in possesion of 1 free anglegrinder which can be used for cutting shit up and grinding shit down which you wouldnt have if you got your fancy-pantsy 'tool'. Also good for the other halfs cakes.

Next you'll be using tools to loosen the shock spring, :smt017 maybe a flywheel tool, :smt018 chain riviter :smt011 etc etc etc. Your just throwing money away. For £29.99 i can send you 2 tools that can fix 90% of problems on a car or bike. And as a special offer to you lot for only £3.99 more i can replace the 21oz 'standard' for the 2lb deluxe 'club' model. 5% of all proceeds go to charity*

For someone who hacksaws stuff down and builds led's up, i thought better of you nooj :smt003

*charity of my choice, and I choose me

alternativly, and a lot cheaper:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PARK-TOOL-FR-6-BI ... .m63.l1177

delivery is about a week - i ordered one and they sent the wrong one initially, an FR4 - quick email and new one is enroute :)

I reckon Mr Hacksaw is also planning something that involves the swing arm coming out....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Well I have been a bit under the weather lately, fair bit of stress, had a touch of man-flu etc. Fear not though, the lump hammer and hacksaw still see regular active service, although at this time of year I mostly end up playing 'Mad axe-wielding maniac' and 'Buzz-saw killer' choppng up wood for the fire.

Got a grinder already so could probably make my own swingarm nut removal thingy, probably got some loose sockets about, one will fit no doubt. Or will be made to.

The winter project is taking FUCKING AGES!!! Waiting for bits to come up for sale...AAAAAARGH! JUST SELL ME YOUR BLOODY BIKE BITS!!! Plus the Fazer's eaten it's transmission bearings so that's a couple of hundred quid of the Falco conversion fund wiped out and a number of hours used up finding out what's wrong with it.

It'll get there eventually, I've got most of the parts, just a couple of the bigger bodywork bits missing, the ones that will need the most re-modeling. I have variety of Tuono, Mille and even FJ1100 bits to tinker with, there will be some difficult yet subtle bodywork mods done, an assortment of carbon fibre bits including some one-offs if I can get the moulds made up well enough, the obligatory banana swingarm (thanks again Paddy) some new paint and graphics in a few places, a set of home made LOUD end cans. Nothing should look out of place though, it should look like a working Aprilia 'prototype they never made' when it's finished (are these things ever finished??)... :smt004

I want a stock Tuono belly pan (old shape) and a pair of coil covers to tinker with.

I'm guessing you're going to swap engines are you?? Should be fun :smt003
