Anybody using heated clothing?
Now I'm getting on a bit the idea seems quite - comforting?
Any experiences, recommendations, pros and cons etc.

just go for heated grips imho
the rest is down to good gear
for my feet I use possum fur socks - oneof the best inventions ever
I spent 20 quid at an army and navy store getting some canadian issue thermal under clothes
hand wise, silk inners
a good neck warmer with wind protection - and make it large to come down over the chest
either under my leathers or textile, I am toasty - but - if it is cold and wet, i bless my heatd grips every time - hard to explain but theyt just make any cold journey acceptable

Obviously temperatures have taken a nose dive what with this and the heated grips threads at the mo.
I haven't tried heated clothing yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I hate being cold and it really does make me ride like a tosser so a nice warm jacket and gloves seem just the answer. I am presently put off by the wires though. Hopefully soon someone will develop a battery operated (that works) garment or wireless or something.
I have a pet theory that if I keep my torso and arms (especially wrists) warm then my hands would stay warmer and there would be no need for heated gloves or grips

Maybe one day I shall prove this.
