I fitted Renthal grips to mine and they fit fine so I can't see them being an odd length?

I fitted oxford and did have to cut them down by maybe 3mm - work fine
HOWEVER - why not fit the oxford wrap around type?

I've fitted them .... and very glad I did. I think mine are Saito (I'll check later and edit if I'm wrong)

I have the Oxfords. I had to trim the ends down as they were interfering with the bar end weights. They don't work that well on aluminium bars as they conduct the heat away extremely well, steel bars are better.

I fitted the new Oxford grips with the digital control and didn't need to trim the grips like I did with the older Oxfords with the big controller.

Having a go at fitting Daytona heated grips later if I get time.

I use the wrap around ones and they work ok I guess.
Good thing is you can take them off when not needed. Soon got used to the extra diameter and they may even be more comfy.
However I am not convinced by heated grips. I get over hot palms in thin gloves and not warm enough in thick ones and either way the backs of my hands feel even colder in the windblast by comparison.

fair point fausto, BUT, even for my winter gloves, I tend to go for those that are thinner around the palms, and thicker over the backs - so i am not affected by wind chill quite so much.
and, sad but true, if I go out wearing thin gloves, and know I am going to be out for a while, I tend to carry waterproofs and spare thick gloves.... guess I am just old and value warmth :)

The reason I asked about the heated grips is because i bought a set of super grips that were too long.
Turns out the grips i bought were 135mm, compared to the normal 125mm ... oh well...another wasted ebay purchase
