Has anybody put one of these ebay kits onto their bike?
Thought it might help the wife, do you know how much it lowers the bike and will it affect the handling as I love the way it handles at the moment.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You'll be telling us next that she reads this forum, if wives start reading some of us might have come explaining to do. "oh that, it was on the bike when I got it" kind of explaining!

Never let her on the Falco if she's been drinking shots - let alone 10 or 20 of the things ....

That's really not good behaviour

I did understand that right - didn't I?

Common then lets be serious what's her inside leg measurement. :smt002
i.e. how far do we have to lower it?
If you get a Mille shock and wind it down pretty low, it will go a bit lower than standard Falco height. It will alter handling a bit, but should still be pretty good and not that difficult to swap back.
I'd be much happier doing that, rather than fit any funny lowering kit.
Let's face it you ain't gonna be going for other options like thinning out the seat padding are you. :smt003
Failing that, you could get her some platform soled leather boots I suppose.

Yes, lowering the back will slow down the handling - but you can counteract that somewhat by dropping the yokes down the forks - which will also help the overall lowering.
