welcome

right colour choice

i can see some mods are already done - enquiring minds will probably want a close up of the handle bars :)

white spring shock as well...

looking at the angle, you may well have the original sidestand... strongly suggest you sort that!

now, <sits down, crosses legs and smiles>

just how much cash do you have to spend??

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Welcome aboard mate.

You'll will find a friendly and informative bunch on here but be warned; they will try all possible means to get you to part with your hard earned cash.

No not on them, on your new acquisition.

You'll see.

Enjoy.

Yes, im a weegie bas :-)

ABM yoke with renthals .... wheelie machine

Just got the bike last week. sold my TL1000S and bought this......i dont rate the TL, the riding position was awful, and the power delivery at top end was scary !

Im loving this bike, linear power delivery and handles superbly.

Yes, I noticed the stand..the bike stands very upright...are there any other bolt on stands i could use from another bike ?

Ill post a photo of the bars later.

LOL - stands! Do a search for the low down but the options are:

The stand Aprilia used for the USA market (yes, they got one that does the job !). To get this to fit, you have to chop a lug off the bracket that comes with it.

Honda VTR stand (with some minor fettling)

Suzuki GSXR stand (with some fettling - tis what I've got :smt002 )

Some chap on ebay is flogging "a new design stand" for Aprilias. Have heard of only 2 people using - think 1 said it was OK the other had issues with some of the welds. I believe this one bolts straight on.

The only reason black is the fastest is cos the owners have to clean them after every ride, but then its only in a straight line as they haven't got time to find out how to corner :smt002 :smt003

Welcome aboard fella.

I for one would very much like to see a better picture of the bar setup. Did the screen need modifying or does it interfere with lock etc. etc.... :smt006

Is this the one off fleabay a couple of weeks ago from a remote and mysterious island? I watched it for a while and it didn't seem to be doing much - sounded ok though with all the usual mods done. What happened to the belly pan?
