Sorry chaps - I've been quiet for the past few weeks. For those waiting on shipping costs for items / parts then shout up and I'll get them sorted asap.

So after 18 months or so off riding, I've bought an 03 RSV-R Colin Edwards replica. After a pretty good clean up (it was ridden in all weathers - so I've stripped it to the bare engine and cleaned it), and a few extra parts (rene airbox, acculign rearsets, double bubble and an appropriate rear spring), it's come up a treat. Not only does it come with ohlins front forks, rear shock and steering damper, it also has 57mm throttle bodies and a full 2-2 akra race exhaust. This one even had a power commander fitted already :)

I think theres only two things to do to it - get it sorted on a dyno and get the suspension sorted (it's way too stiff at the moment even for my 19 stone).

It's been a while since I was on the Falco so I can't comment on how different it is, all I know is that the fairing makes it a pain in the arse to work with sometimes...

Sounds good - and glad you're back on an Aprilia.

I'll have to sort out when I'm going to come and get those Falco bits :smt003

Cheers

High TreeTops,

I must admit an RSV-R of any flavour is an attractive proposition. Could be considered a bit common though but then I'm sure there are not too many of the Colin Edwards Aprillia replicas around, I remember him as the opposition...
