now, I know I am a very careful red sea pedestrian, but humour me :)

I am thinking laterally, and can anyone see why this would not work

If I was to remove my left hand mirror, and using a bolt with multiple nuts on it to get the thing tightened, I can see no reason why I cannot just bolt my spare camcorder to the bike....

I reckoned by putting it there I could get some nice footage with no possibility of the speedo showing anything naughty... that make sense?

also, if I did do this, would a couple of rubber bushes help with vibration?

am only asking as I am sure some one else must have done it already... I hate to reinvent the wheel

is the camcorder tape or disc?

If the latter it won't work and the former will have some nice jiggly pics

old fashioned tape or digital tape? I used my digicam encased in foam on a bracket next to my crashbung and it worked until high revs then went all blocky.Old analog tape will work or i have a straight to memory card recorder now.

Gaffa tape it to the top of your lid.
