just to add on to the work I have done this winter and to give some initial thoughts on the effect
First off, nounting the garmin on the dash - not good - the dash is far to flexible so the garmin bounces around far too much - I will be getting a metal working friend to look at this with me and we will make a support bracket to stop it... if that does not work then I will think again - I really like the placement....
Second - MPL clutch master cylinder. Awesome - easy clutch action, and wish I had done it earlier
Third, AF1 chip... oh my :) you get to 7k revs then it takes off - hard :)
Fourth - Wavey disks and braided hoses. Hard to quantify and to sperate. I am not certain what the difference has been caused by BUT - the brakes are better, and have far more feel in them. I suspect this could be down to better bleeding as I followed the guides, but could be down to new fluid or braided hoses - either way, lovely :)
Fifth - integrated indicators. I like the look - the clean lines are nice - BUT - maybe the rear indicators are not enough as they are for safety - I will be looking again at these and thinking about a solution
Sixth - Baglux tank cover in black... even though I do have a baglux tank bag in blue - I do not like this - I will be removing the cover and keeping the tank standard - and yes, I will be selling on the cover and bag!
Finally - the HID conversion - trust me folks, just do it - awesome effect and, in all honesty, I will not be doing the high/low beam light mod - I do not need too - the dip is enough on its own...
so - mixed results, but am pleased - I have a little more fettling to do, and have a couple of ideas to try for the future :)
