MPL clutch - worth it?

as it said in the title - is it worth doing?
(Just wondering as I am about to fit a new clutch line and if I am doing one then....)
I personally do not find the falco clutch hard... but my wrist has been trained by many years of lusting over Kylie Minogue and I am a former ducati sport owner....

Not sure.
Bling is nice .... but functionally .... harder to find neutral and I've not noticed the clutch being that much lighter.
Those are my views so far. I do have an idea to sort out the neutral business ... but it's just too cold to be fettling at the moment.
When the weather warms up a bit I'll try it and let you know.
I am very glad that I fitted my heated grips!

i think that changing the hosing will be enough bling for me....
and as i said, i do not find the clutch that hard to use

Mine is slightly easier, also has the neutral finding issue but only when cold.
But overall well pleased with it

An MPL clutch cylinder makes it harder to find neutral
I've still got the standard set up and I've been looking for neutral for 3 1/2 years, so I wouldn't want to make it worse!

I never had much trouble with the standard one, Howard.
Just a thought, what setting do you use on the adjuster on your lever?
Can't remember whether 1 is smallest or widest hand span ... so lets call A narrowest and D widest.
With the standard slave, I was using position B (second smallest). When I changed it for the MPL slave, I found that setting useless - so tried the positions C&D. D is the best (not surprisingly, it moves the piston further) but was not so comfortable. I'm now running C which is not as good as I used to have with the standard set-up but it's a tolerable compromise most of the time.

My road bike is standard, my track bike has stainless hose, mpl cylinder and barnett clutch. Can't say I notice any difference.
Clutch did slip until I replaced it with the barnett and everythings been fine since, so I guess from reading the above posts it wont do any harm but also won't send you into some kind of sensory orgasmic overload either

It doesn't start off any better than the standard cylinder (might even be a afir bit stiffer). The difference is after six months of riding (especially with a lot of stop start/heavy traffic). Instead of feeling the seal starting to turn to mush and making gear changes impossible, it just keeps going strong.
The neutral problem is easily solved, just give the throttle a blip and (for some reason) it drops into neutral dead easy while the revs are up.

Although I fitted an MPL slave, I intend to get a new seal for my original slave so that I have a spare - should I need it.
I seem to remember that this is one of the few things for which the Aprilia part doesn't require re-mortgaging your house - so thought I'd get a genuine part (but not done so yet)
A few moments later:
Ah ... how wrong my failing memory can be .... just visited Aprilia Yorkshire website to check ... £11.27 for a seal FFS !
xrphil - if you do find a source for seals of the same size at a sensible price, there's probably a few who'd like one. Let us know if you do.
Think I've still got my old one - I'll try to measure it up as best I can .
