Whass goinon

Mellow Yellow, GazUK both selling up, so I had a quick glance at t'internet and there are more Falcos up for sale than you can poke a stick at!

So as I say WHASS GOINON.

What do they know that we don't?

Has a better even more exclusive bike been released and they're putting one over on us?

I'll be sad to see them go, unless the sneaky barstewards are playing one upmanship, then they can burn in hell MWAHAHAHAHA.

You're right, I noticed there seem to be a lot up for sale at the moment as well. Sad people!
Don't worry, we just become an even more exclusive goup! :smt004

Something I have been wondering too. I could not be more satisfied with my Falco.

Well, with you, Howard, Syltiz and me, that's 4 of us sticking with them - The 4 Falco Riders of the Apocalypse?

There again Dale's off to lands far away so that'll only be 3 in this country.

Anyone else sticking around?

I'll still be here. Maybe a bit quieter as the new job involves a bit more work than the last one.

I am staying around as well

Think that Fausto, when I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago, is also still in raptures over his falco

Maybe it'll become what no other modern bike will, a classic.

I will be honest, I have been tempted by the new Fireblade and had to drag myself away from George whites in Swindon when I saw the gsxr 750 but I know they are just lustful wants and not a need. :smt007

As Rossi once said “kissing a new girlfriend is more exiting than making love to one you have been with for a long time” (some reference to a new machine he was given)

The Falco may not be as quick, handle as well or be as “cutting edge” as some of the bikes out there but we all think the next one will be better only to end up getting bored with the new one and doing it all over again.

The Falco does it all, is exclusive and they keep telling me to go on strike, so I’m skint anyway. :smt009

I will be sticking around for some time.

Keep the faith

I've only had mine 15 months and must confess to being tempted by the Buell1125 (so ugly it's almost pretty?) but then i go for a ride on the Falco and i can't remember why i want to change ? :smt017

I had a new falco in 2005. After 7 months it was nicked and the insurance paid out full pops. So with cash in my pocket i went looking and couldn't find anything else that floated my boat. Got another falco and I just love it. Can't see me going back to race reps unless I can run a track-day only bike.

Will keep this for a long long time I think.
