shouldn't need any??

the allen key bolt that goes through the rear seat grab rail - remove that and then reverse it - so the allen key goes from under the rear seat out - then it screws into the pannier frame

the other two mount points are already there - just undo the bolts, offer up and tighten again

that all make sense??

According to the supplied instructions, I need a spacer, washer and different bolt for the footrest mounting point. I can mount the rear grab handle and exhaust points, but the footrest mounting clearly needs a spacer and a longer screw.

Did yours not need?

Yep - absolutely correct - spacer and longer bolts needed for the mounting at the top of the footrest bracket.

Mine didn't have spacers or longer screws but when I fitted it I did put a couple of washers in at the top of the peg hangers to give a mm or 2 clearance.
