I know they might look okay to you in the pictures but they aren't, millions of cracks in them and the scrapes looked as if they were made from rope, all hairy.

Would they seriously not repair at a plastic welders or something? Can't really tell from the photos admittedly.

Fancy floggin them on anyway? I know of a bike that could use them for a little project! ;-)

Sorry Bigun, they've been binned now and I seriously doubt they'd be any good because of the cracks.

Gio - I think I've the top two. In fact, I think I've got two of each (along with most other panels / fuel tanks) except for the upper fairing...

I'll check them out tonight. The only concern I think is that the side panel may have been drilled for an R&G upper crash bung.

Well I'll bow to you superior knowledge.......................................... :smt103 NOT

I'd really liked to have shown pictures that show the damage, but as I only have one pair of hands that was impossible.

The rear of each panel was a veritable crazy pavement.

I've also been told that Aprilia are using a form of plastic composite that doesn't encourage repairs.

They'd have sold like hotcakes! :smt002 :smt019

Bet theyre on Ebay now.. some binman is laughing at his good fortune. :smt002 :smt005

Repair resistant composite? I seem to recall seeing plenty of Aprilia plastics being repaired (not just the race fairings) in '04 :smt002

Ah, replied to your other post but it all went quiet. £15 for both the levers and adjusty bits and they're yours.
