Done a lot of searching! Rear suspension guide is great but…
My Falco has an RSV swing arm fitted, don’t know what year the swing arm is from, other than it being round section one. l managed to get an Ohlins shock for it AP8400, which from the guide is for 98 to 00 rsv. Couldn’t get set up right with Falco triangles. I have now managed to get an 01 to 03 long dog bone and matching triangles, this has raised the ride height by 30mm , suspension feels better, although not tried on road yet. Just asking if anyone else has had this dilemma? obviously did not have enough info when I purchased shock! Thanks

Re: Rear shock question
Hi,
I have an RSV arm installed, I used the triangles from that arm, with my Falco dog bone.
Initially I had a Shiwa shock from a 98 ‘Blade, I now have a rebuilt RSV AP8400 and all works fine that way.
Try your original dog bone - see what that does.

Thanks for the reply, did you use the Falco triangles with the Falco dog bone? That was going to be my next try! Thanks again for your help

Re: Rear shock question
No, I used the triangles from the RSV arm.
Worked really well, and the Falco still handles better than I can ride it, even after owning it and riding it since 2001!

Re: Rear shock question
The 'golden rule' is that the triangles, dog bone and shock should all be from the same year and type of bike. Mixing and matching of these 3 will give unpredictable results. If you have a Falco either use Falco triangles, dogbone and shock or RSV triangles, dogbone and shock (and from the sme 'generation'). See this post for further details:
