3rd time Falco owner
Hi, chaps, well I've finally bought my 3rd Falco.
The first was a bronze black new in 2006 then a red black one 2005 reg bought about 2013.
Anyway I saw an ad on FB Falco Forum obviously too good to miss so I took the plunge on a 2003 Falco with a genuine Streetfighter kit on it.
Now I'm not to sure about the Streetfighter look but the bike arrives on Saturday and they seem to look better with the polished alloy painted in body colour, so watch this space.
I bought the bike as a non runner but managed to get it running sounds sweet. It comes with a fair bit of history.
First job is to get it mot'd have a ride and see what's what.
Looking forward to the journey.

Nice one(s)! I have the red/black (middle) one and cannot imagine ever selling it. Those streetfighters are as rare as rocking horse sh1t, so well done for finding one. Be very interested to hear how you get on with it...

Hi Graham
Well the bike came today bit of fettling and it fired up runs sweetly. MOT next week all ready to go.
It came with the original wheels, rear seat, top fairing screen, and silencers, also as part of the deal I got a yellow spring sachs shock.
I'm definitely going to paint the alloy parts, put the new shock on but the main thing is trying to sort out the wiring from the engine to the dash it's a mess.
I've got to say the streetfighter look growing on me.
It does look like the fairing brace is different to the original falco one it may come to pieces tomorrow.

Re: 3rd time Falco owner
That looks like a fascinating project, with the end result being a truly unique Falco. Bon courage!

Hey Sherlock,
Congrats for snaffling a Falco 'Fighter! Can't say it's my cup of tea, but I'll be watching with interest to see what you do with it.
Cheers,
V

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Hi V,
All the wiring has been tidied up looks a lot better.
I know what you mean about the streetfighter look the only view I don't like is side on, but it is growing on me strangely.
It's MOT time on Wednesday so I'll be able to ride it then and see what's what.
I was intent on turning it back to original I've got side panels fairing screen etc, but the fairing brace is different than the original falco one so that and a few trims etc would need sourcing.
As im lucky enough to have it as a Sunday afternoon toy it may stay as it is but who knows.
Pics to follow.
