side stand wiring

#1 Post by bulgarianfalco » Sat Mar 19, 2022 1:29 pm

Hi Chaps, can anyone advise how to re-wire my sidestand cut-out wiring? I'm left with 3 wires, brown, green and black and propose twisting some together as a bodge fix, after the little circuit board has snapped. I'll have to remember not to be riding off with the stand down.....

On the wiring diagram the black is connected to the brown, so I'm guessing that's its 'at rest' (i.e. stand up) position. Try joining those two first. If it doesn't work connect black to green.

Thanks for that - seems joining brown and black seems to have done the job :) Now just waiting for the snow to completely melt....

Good stuff! Glad that worked. We've lost the snow but still have salt on the roads...
