Replacing the Fuel Tank...

My tank has swollen but I can still lift it clear of the headstock, albeit with a little gentle persuasion. It will need replacing in time.
My question is.... how much work is involved in fitting a new tank. The carbon tanks that Richard Vanags produces, and the OEM tanks on sale at AF1 are just the "shell".
Is it as simple as swapping over the filler cap assembly, fuel pump and hoses, heat shield etc?
There are some internal hoses too I think.
Who's done it and is it straightforward?

A standard falco tank does not need any internal pipes changing unless the outer protective sleeve has gone.

Tbh Dave I would keep using it until it leaks?

As in regards to getting the bolts in near head stock. Undo the bolts at the back of the tank/ under the seat,
drop the tank down and fit the bolts at the headstock first.

Then using a Philips screw driver pry the tank forward .

The carbon tanks are about a grand.

To swap everything over onto another standard tank is pretty straight forward.

Fuel pump and fuel cap.
