Well, thanks to Wayne I now have a Falcuono...
I have yet to ride it any distance having only given it a quick post-build shake down, but I have great hopes for it being a very enjoyable ride...
One thing I did see a lot of was my knuckles - a simple solution was found on Ebay with a pair of 2013 RS125 mirrors which are about 30mm longer than the Falc's
Ultimately, the grand plan is to respray the bike - the colour I've chosen is Ford's Asbo Orange as used on the ST. I was hoping it was going to be darker, but it was quite Tango instead ... I may hold out for a darker orange if I can figure out how to replicate the green metalflake...
Here are a couple of pics...

That's a shy, retiring, wallflower kind of colour you've chosen there, Greg. And I heartily approve!
Love the Ford Asbo Orange...

Mang...
The Asbo Orange was/is too 'orange' - I did Wayne's top fairing in it planning to repair the rest of the damage on the original bodywork, but it didn't talk to me like the dark orange/green that's on there now.
I did arse around with some orange pearl powder I had and sprayed it on top of a dark blue (actually a Duraglit tin top) solid base which looked quite nice, but I do like the dark orange...
The alternative is just to go completely stealth with an all over satin black. Maybe with a red stripe over the top...

Great looking bike. Shame you're not keeping the orange, I think it looks fab!

Katie...
The present colour is fantastic and the flip effect is wild and really pops in sunlight, but the PO dumped it on the M25 and it's quite badly scuffed down one side - although not enough to stop me riding it! I'm going to try a local custom spray specialist to see if they can give me a clue as to how to replicate the orange/green flip. After that it'll be a question of developing my spraying skills to replicate it!

The screen looks better than any other I've seen cut down, is that your work?
Overall it's not too bad and lets face it if you're going to go lurid, go LURID

Good luck with that!
Mind you, I have all the colour sense of a 5 year old dressing in the dark when it comes to bikes so ignore any painting advice I give

Reminds me of an Egyptian belly dancer colourwise, not my taste I must admit but its very individualistic. have fun on it after all its a bike
I don't think much of any of Ford's colours especially the brash ones.

The screen was roughly profiled when I got it - I don't know if Wayne did it, or if it was part of the kit he passed on, but I spent a bit of time with a 'blunt' flap disc on the angle grinder and just smoothed everything out. The critical bit was having it fixed to the fairing and profiling that at the same time.. I'm tempted to try and fabricate a Varioscreen type of spoiler to go on the top of the screen to raise it a bit..
Bar end mirrors? I thought about it, but it's plenty wide enough now with the Renthal handlebar fitted, any wider and I might as well buy myself a fully kitted GS!
As I said I love the colour scheme, and the orange is darker than it looks really, but the green flip is just stunning. It's a shame that the original job was a bit crap as the paint has discoloured around the decals. I'm taking a guess that the decals were perhaps stuck onto the base coat before the clear was applied - when I do it I'll probably shoot a couple of coats of clear before doing the decals then another coat or two over the top.
And FWIW I rather like belly dancers lol..
