Nice. Would rather have a fully-loaded missile system though :)

Only if I put the stabilisers back on ;)

Starting a new job tomorrow and it's a 150 round trip every day so luggage space required! Could probably do with a mid-flight/trip refuelling vehicle too...

What's the job and where have you got to go to?

Mid-flight refuelling is almost certainly going to be required - might just get that far with one of the carbon-fibre tanks that's bigger on the inside - but I doubt any of us who have them have done enough long journeys to know that for sure.

Working undercover as a spy for a top-secret government agency in Surrey

or something similar :smt025

Most of the trip is motorway (M40, M25) with occasional trips to congestion hell. Since I've had the bike, I seem to be getting 40-45mpg. The previous Falco's I had weren't ever that good but I did live in the middle of London at the time!

Going on the basis that I'll have 19 usable litres (I hope!) I reckon that'll be a tank per day.

Or I could start filling me box with fuel and run a pipe from it?

Nice job.

Some topboxes can have the red inserts adapted to become tail/brake light repeaters too.

Might be handy for winter riding.

I refrained from commenting on the picture with the bush in the background ... thought I'd leave such observations to the rest of you. It seems you rose to the challenge.

If you ever work out how you are achieving that, please let me know - I can never get close to that.

BTW at least you won't get stuck in the hell called the M25 parking lot.

Going on the basis that I'll have 19 usable litres (I hope!) I reckon that'll be a tank per day.

DEFRA? well if you think you can go that far on a tank I'd be the 1st admirer, never managed more than 130 on mine when I had it and then it was running on fumes. If you get stuck around junction 11 M25 I'm about 1.5 miles away.
